Castelul Bran

Bran Castle

Located at 10 km from Alpin Ranch, between the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mountains, Bran Castle is an important national monument and a landmark of tourism in Romania, due to both its beauty, its surroundings, and the legend of Count Dracula on whose spirit is says still haunts these ancient places.

The castle is one of the main attractions of Roumania, every year Dracula’s legends are bringing many tourists from all over the world.

In Castle Bran’s court is arranged a village museum, an objective featuring life and peasants traditions from the Rucăr-Bran area.



Cetatea Rasnov

Râșnov Citadel

Distance from Alpin Ranch to Râşnov – 9 km.
Considered one of the most beautiful citadels of our country, Râşnov Citadel is situated on the Braşov-Rucăr-Câmpulung Muscel road.
Tourists wishing to visit the citadel, will remain impressed by its skill, the atmosphere of mystery that hangs in the air, and the past that seemes to unfold as a movie among the ruins, walls and forests.

The whole beauty of the place can be seen through binoculars existing in the citadel, and at high, in a special place, tourists can see Bucegi, Piatra Craiului Mountains, Baiul, Braşov Valley and the Bârsei Valley. You can discover the feudal art museum, where they are exposed weapons, tools, galleries, antique furniture, prints, armor, specific century clothing, various photocopies of documents of that time, etc.

Black Church

Situated at a distance of 24 km from Alpin Ranch, Black Church from Braşov is the largest Gothic church in Transylvania and the largest religious building between Vienna and Istanbul. The bell of 6 tones, or the collection of Anatolian carpets, the bronze font are some of the attractions of the church.
Black Church has one of the biggest pipe organs in Europe, inside it being placed a series of statues
(for example the one of John the Baptist).

The largest shrine in Roumania, it is called Black Church because of a fire that has blackened the walls domination during Habsburgs. Other places that can be seen in Braşov : Town Hall, Old Town Hall, County Museum of History, St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Țesătorilor Bastion, Șchei Gate, Rope Street, Tâmpa Mountain and others.



Castelul Peles

Peleș Castle

Located in Sinaia (45 km from Alpin Ranch and at 44 km from Braşov), called the Kings Castle, Peleș today hosts a museum open to the large public.
The castle is composed of over 170 rooms and a central tower 66 meters high. Those interested can see the two rooms of weapons, hall of honor, councils chamber, old music room, work office, the French and Turkish salon. There can be admired the columns room the theater room or the apartment suite, specially arranged for the visit of Emperor Franz Joseph I. Next to Peleș Castle is located the turret, a royal residence with 42 rooms aranged in Swiss style.
