Bran Castle
Located at 10 km from Alpin Ranch, between the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mountains, Bran Castle is an important national monument and a landmark of tourism in Romania, due to both its beauty, its surroundings, and the legend of Count Dracula on whose spirit is says still haunts these ancient places.
The castle is one of the main attractions of Roumania, every year Dracula’s legends are bringing many tourists from all over the world.
In Castle Bran’s court is arranged a village museum, an objective featuring life and peasants traditions from the Rucăr-Bran area.
Râșnov Citadel
Distance from Alpin Ranch to Râşnov – 9 km.
Considered one of the most beautiful citadels of our country, Râşnov Citadel is situated on the Braşov-Rucăr-Câmpulung Muscel road.
Tourists wishing to visit the citadel, will remain impressed by its skill, the atmosphere of mystery that hangs in the air, and the past that seemes to unfold as a movie among the ruins, walls and forests.
The whole beauty of the place can be seen through binoculars existing in the citadel, and at high, in a special place, tourists can see Bucegi, Piatra Craiului Mountains, Baiul, Braşov Valley and the Bârsei Valley.
